Rawlings came into the fight as the IKBO Muay Thai Champion, a title he had won by defeating Cummings when they last met. This time, Cummings wanted to take back his title and add the USKBA title to his collection. However, Rawlings had his own agenda. From the opening bell, both fighters went on the offense causing both fighters to fall on the canvas. When referee VLADIMIR BORODINE brought the fighters to their feet. Rawlings backed Cummings into a corner. When Cummings bent down to throw uppercuts, Rawlings grabbed Cummings behind the head and threw a knee to Cummings' forehead. Cummings went down and could not recover.
